You are the Alpha, the start of all that exists.
Your very Word did found the very earth;
You constructed every atom, and each did list;
You are its spirit, purpose, and even worth.
Omega too, the end is safe inside
Your mighty hand. You cause the flame to dance;
You know the last sunset, the final tide,
and nothing by Your will is left to chance.
The beginning and the end; You see it all.
You are, my Lord, the frame of history.
Your watchful eye sees every rise, each fall;
You are the only worthy mystery.
You are the first, the last, so wondrous are
Your ways. None stands so tall or sees so far.
