Fountains of Deep, Windows of Heaven

by Daniel Morgan

You are my love, that one thing's true,
And God above can see us through.
He sent His Son, He's sent us too
To end the strife and heal the wound.

The sky has grown dark and heavy.
The hard time's almost here.
And my eye is far from ready
To embrace my inmost fear.

But ocean's deep and mountain's wide
His Blood has gone, and still it cries.
I pray it'd rain and wake our souls
So tongues might rise and praise unfold.

And what I need, I do not know.
To hear your laugh, and hold you so.
I'd take the day and make it new
To walk along this world with you.

I have no words. I have no plea.
I've given all for you to see.
And if you'd come and spread your smile,
Our two hearts could be reconciled.

The sky has grown dark and heavy.
The hard time's almost here.
And my eye is far from ready
To embrace my inmost fear.

And what I need, I do not know.
To hear your laugh, and hold you so.
I'd take the day and make it new
To walk along this world with you.
Just walk this world along with you.
Just walk this world along with you.
