Eulogy, by Paul Lytle Mr. Lytle says goodbye to a childhood friend in this emotional tribute to Captain Andrew Houghton, who a year ago this month died from wounds suffered in Iraq. Do not worry; there is no criticism of foreign policy here, only a reaction to a person whose character is unforgettable, even if everything else was. On the True Evil of Government Aid, by J.E. Heath In his continual quest to say in a few paragraphs what it takes everyone else at Primum Mobile twenty pages to say, Mr. Heath here attacks the idea that Conservatives are inherently greedy for opposing government handouts. We were excited to have another article from Mr. Heath, but he does keep calling us from atop his giant hoard of cash demanding a dollar per word for the work. We have instructed him to not hold his breath, and, to our knowledge, he is following our advice. The Castrated Imagination, by Daniel Morgan It's about comic books. Seriously! And not those Japanese ones with the girls with big eyes and hardly any clothing either. In this piece, Mr. Morgan strives to look seriously as a handful of successful and thought-provoking comics. Hey, if nothing else, we can certainly say that the art is better than Cy Twombly (see below). To Confuse and Bewilder, by Paul Lytle A couple of months ago, Mr. Lytle's graduate course required him to attend a showing of a work of art (so they claim) by Cy Twombly. Since he was forced to endure such hardship and pain, he decided to make good use of the circumstance to try to discover if this sort of Modern Art can even truly be called art. If you have read any of Mr. Lytle's work up to this point, you already know his conclusion, but this one might be fun anyway Poetry On Art, by J. R.
