In Defense of Science Fiction, by Paul Lytle Science Fiction has long been the favorite whipping-boy of high school English teachers whose knowledge of the genre seems to end with what they unwillingly absorbed from nerd brothers as teenagers. But is the study of a fictional future really worth our time? Mr. Lytle has put down his model of the Enterprise long enough to pen this enthusiastic "Yes!" Greener on the Other Side, by Daniel Morgan Mr. Morgan gives us keen insight into the "core interpretation" to Mr. W. B. Yeats. Not only is one Irish and the other would like to be, but they both have the same shock of hair and lament over lost loves. Mr. Morgan dares to discuss the occult within a Christian publication, but takes us the safer, scenic route around those nether regions. Confessions of a Humanist Christian, by Louis A. Markos The title is tantalizing, with the keywords of "confessions," "humanist Christian," and, er, I guess that's all. But rest assured, there is a rational explanation to Dr. Markos' blatant attempt to rouse our suspicious and pique our curiosity. So settle those suspicions and muffle your curiosity, and pay no attention to that funny little man at the keyboard.
